These two beautiful souls got married 6 years ago and asked Justin and I to capture family photos as well as some anniversary photos for them. Now, 6 years later, they have two fun-loving daughters, Olivia and Aurora, along with two perfect little pups. Making some impactful changes to my small bedroom

For some of you that don’t know, I live in a home that was built in 1900. So that being said, almost every room in this house is on the smaller side and quite divided. That is why every decision made on this home so far has got to be purposeful because we have limited space. When we moved in, we did some major changes to this old home. From lighting updates, to making sure each room had a fresh paint coat of paint, we did work.

The Weekend Edit

The first five days after the weekend are the hardest I think. :)

Weekends are such a precious time. These past few weekends have been just sort of lazy and unplanned and to me, that is the best kind of weekend. We were able to explore a couple local antique stores that we have never been to. Last weekend we indulged in Cooper State Brewery as well as St Brendan's Inn for dinner (my favorite place in Green Bay). This weekend we explored The Creamery Downtown with my mother as well as again, going to a couple antique stores around town. My gosh, just some of my most favorite things to do!

Our Tiny Colonial

Justin and I purchased our first home! 

I have been dreaming of this day for quite some time. I seriously had no clue that it could happen so fast like it did. We are officially homeowners! 

We have been in our house now for a couple months and I just wanted to reflect on our first months of home ownership. let me tell you, it is not easy. Not that I thought this was going to be a cake walk or anything. I did however expect us to make some small improvements right off the bat like we did.
